What is the BAC?
The goal of the Broadway Alumni Connection is to provide Broadway performers (former & current) opportunities to share their talents with communities and connect with each other. If you are "between gigs"or itching to get back onstage, you can be in a Broadway Alumni Connection show. There are no auditions or dues. (You've had enough of those!) We believe that you have accomplished great things & your talent is with you for life. You may want to brush up your skills from time to time and come play with your friends in front of the lights. Or you may want to try out a new work in front of a supportive audience. See who has already joined us below.
How does it work?
First join our network!
Be sure to provide your name & Broadway credits for our database.
You will receive notices of performance opportunities & parties.
Fill out the form on the link.
There is no audition. You choose your material. We confirm your show date!
We will provide the stage, basic lighting, accompanist & microphone.
You may receive a video of your performance (small fee for this may apply)
All you do is rehearse the day of the show, perform & have drinks with friends!
All shows are held at the Nuyorican Theater (236 E 3rd St.)
What makes a Broadway Alumni member?
Anyone who has performed in a Broadway show. You don’t need to be retired to be an alumni. There may be more Broadway shows in your future but this group is designed to give you opportunities to perform and mingle with your community in the meanwhile.
What’s the vibe of BAC?
We are about having fun supporting one another. Together we can celebrate new works, scratch that itch to get back on stage, chat about the good old days and applaud each others talents. Good times!
